As Jay departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jay may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jay leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his sister Peggy Webb. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Fields Webb; his stepson Chris Mostiller; his granddaughter Kendall Worley (Grant); his sister Laura Buchta; and his pet Penny.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Greenlee Baptist Church (5967 US-70, Old Fort, NC 28762). A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers are accepted and appreciated; however, those wishing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider Greenlee Baptist Church, 5967 US 70 W, Old Fort, NC 28762 for the Building & Grounds Fund/Children's Department to promote the growth in the knowledge of Jesus in young lives.
