He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Ray Davis and Virginia Vess Davis; and his sister Delaine Davis. He is survived by: his wife Peggy C. Davis; his children, Libby Davis (Kevin), Jennifer Mullins (William) and Joshua Davis (Courtney); his grandchildren, Jeremy Davis (Erin), Selina Fant (Xavier), Luke Davis, Davis Mullins and Margaret Mullins; his great grandchildren, Freya Davis and Laoghaire Davis; and his siblings, Everett Davis (Cathy) and Shelia Davis-Estridge (Phillip).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beam Celebration Center (2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stone Mountain Missionary Baptist Church (2363 Old Fort Rd, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
