He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franklin Downer, Sr. and Frances Carolyn McRae Downer. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert "Bob" Franklin Downer, Jr. of Lilesville and Patricia Downer Seago (John) of Wadesboro; and his nieces and nephews, Mary-Kathryn Downer and Jacob Phillip Downer (Lucia).
