Johnny leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Johnny’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parent Jensie Alleen Wallace; and his brothers, James Emory Wallace and Joseph Carl Brown. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Wallace, Johnny Matthew Wallace, Jr. (Kathy), Lyle Sealey, Richard Wallace (Tammy) and Donald "Scooter" McKinney (Christina); and his sister Linda Gail Brown. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, two nephews, five grandnieces and nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
