She is survived by: her sons, Chuck Edward Nettles (Pamela) and Wendell Nettles (Kendra); her sisters, Mary Sue Sigmon and Barbara Roland (Donald); and her grandchildren, Ashley Braddock, John Ross Nettles, Clay Nettles, Brandon Nettles, Byron Nettles and Kendall Nettles. She is also survived by her family and friends deeply, especially her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Beam Funeral Service & Crematory (2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the McDowell Memorial Park (327 Memorial Park Rd, Marion, NC 28752).
