She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Johnson and Wanda Trull Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Danny Nelon; her children, Amanda Johnson (Randy) and Matthew Nelon (Jessica); her grandchildren, Damon Martin, Kaden Nelon, Brandon Nelon, Lacey Nelon and Bryson Johnson; and her sister Melissa Nelon (Paul).
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beam Funeral Service & Crematory (2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
