He is survived by: his wife Lynn Smith; his children, Matthew Russell Smith, Paul Burton Smith (Shana) and Kayla Lynn Smith; his stepchildren, Natosha Martin (Eric) and Eugene Edwards (Rebecca); his sisters, Jean Burleson and Kathy Smith Jenkins; his grandson Dylan Smith; and his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Smith and Ashley McCraw. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
