We announce the death of Louise Bledsoe of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 53. Louise will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Morris Wilson and Sarah Maggie Patton Wilson; her mother-in-law Julia Bledsoe; and her cousin Wayne Bumgarner. She is survived by: her husband Jason Lee Bledsoe; her children, Nathan Woodell (Brittany Johnson) of Morganton, Nick Woodell (Angelica) of Valdese and Sarah Helms (Adam) of Morganton; her siblings, Renee Rodgers of Morganton, Timothy Wilson of Marion and Penny Woodell (Eddie) of Valdese; her siblings-in-law, Jennifer Woody and Jonathan Bledsoe; and her father-in-law Jerry Bledsoe.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Westmoreland Chapel (198 S Main St, Marion, NC 28752). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers are welcome; however, for those wishing to make a memorial contribution, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization that held a special place in Louise's heart.
