Madonna Burnette Letterman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Madonna Burnette Letterman of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on May 11, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Burnette and Evelyn Hightower Casteel; her husband John Chris Letterman; and her son David Michael Byrd. She is survived by: her children, Brad Byrd, Mark Byrd, Jenny Brewer of Newland, NC and Jamie Byrd; her stepchildren, Loretta Huskins (Kenneth) of Burnsville, NC, Carolyn Cook (James) of Spruce Pine, NC and Terry Letterman of Burnsville, NC; and her brother Arthur Street. She is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
