It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Epley Sprinkle of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Epley and Effie Hall Epley; her husband Alvin Sprinkle; and her daughter-in-law Cathy Coker Sprinkle. She is survived by: her siblings, Vernon of Clyde, J. B., Buddy Epley, Charlotte Reel, Evelyn Morgan, Pauline Day and Kate Mae Davenport; her sons, Doug and Lynn (Kathy) of Marion; her grandchildren, Bryan Sprinkle (Crystal), Jennifer Gant (Duncan), Andrew Sprinkle and Nickolas Sprinkle (Lindsay); her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Harper Sprinkle, Maddox and Murphy Gant; her sister Joyce Suttles of Pittsboro, NC; her nephew Joey Morgan of Marion; and her caregiver Teresa Cole. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law.
