He was predeceased by: his parents, Merl Smith Stanley Sr. and Virginia Stanley (Scearce). He is survived by: his son Daniel Stanley (Shannon) of New Braunfels, TX; his grandchildren, Annelise and Daniel Jr.; his daughter Brittney Cauthen (Nathaniel) of Nebo, NC; his grandson Gus; his son Garrett Stanley (Brittany) of Nebo, NC; and his grandchildren, Keaton, Brittney, Garrett and Dan.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials can be directed to a charity of their choosing in his name or to the family in care of the funeral home.
