He was predeceased by: his parents, William Randolph Stevens, Sr. and Ruby Frances Melton Stevens; his son Scotty Allen Stevens; and his brothers, Sam Freeman, Calvin Stevens, Arnold Stevens, Dean Stevens and Bill Stevens.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Stevens (Rhonda), Pamela Waters (Chris), Deanna Banks (Tim) and Brian Stevens (Tina); his siblings, Shirley Laws, Verdie Propst, Cindy Johnson (Tommy), Rita Barnett and Jimmy Stevens (Toni); and his daughter-in-law Debra Stevens. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
