He was predeceased by: his father James Garland Norton; his wife Edna Brooks Norton; his son Jerry Wayne Norton; and his grandchildren, Donald Seth Norton and Lori Sasser.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Donald Norton, Dennis Keith Norton (Terri) and Kathy Norton Laxson (Jim); his brother Charlie Norton; and his grandchildren, Erica Huffman, Chris Norton, Michael Norton and John Paul Norton. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
