It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip David Burleson of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Patrick Ryan Burleson of Marion, NC and Crystal Renee Penland of Canada; his son Desmond Burleson; his stepchildren, Rylan Blair and Arlynn Carver; his grandparents, Rebecca Hall (Thomas), Kenneth Lee Burleson (Patrisha), Kurl Keith Penland and Shirley Smith; and his siblings, Lily Nguyen, Barrett Burleson and Ciara Clark. He was also cherished by four aunts; four uncles; and numerous cousins.
Phillip's final act was to give the gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation.
