He was predeceased by: his son Tony Lanning; and his parents, Raymond Lanning Sr. and Rosalee Harris Broadway. He is survived by: his wife Heather Johnson Lanning; his children, Stuart Tipton (Mindy) and Desiree Lanning; his grandchildren, Isabella Tipton, Montgomery Tipton and Inori Rose; and his siblings, Judy Noblitt, Kathy Lloyd, Jody McGinnis (Rex), Joanne Hunt (Joey) and Richard Noblitt (Sue).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beam Funeral Service & Crematory (2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752).
