He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel L. Evans and Ollie E. Gibson Evans; his wife Mozelle Evans; and his siblings, Alan, Doyle, Pearl, Gladys, Betty and Jeannie.
He is survived by: his children, Marty Evans (Denise), Alan Evans, Ricky Evans and Kim Evans; and his brother Jerry Evans (Gayle). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
