It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Kay Hawkins (Marion, North Carolina), born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Roscoe Hawkins and Marie Carson Hawkins; his son Samuel Kenneth Hawkins; his grandson Jeremy Adams; and his sister Mary Horton.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda; his children, Janice Adams of Marion and Robert Hawkins (Connie) of Watkinsville, GA; his sister Cathy Evans (Jim) of Niceville, FL; his granddaughter Susan Herzog (Jeff) of Asheville; his great grandchildren, Jonah, Ezekiel and Micah; and his friend Lois Greenlee. He is also survived by other daughter, as well as countless extended family and friends.
