He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Eugene Silver and Mary Ruth Lane Silver; and his brothers, Donald "Duck" Silver, Jack "Omar" Silver and Tony "Cocoamo" Silver.
He is survived by: his great-niece Emma Silver; his sister Linda Bradshaw of Old Fort; and his close friend Pete Loftin of Polk County. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
