She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Huskins and Lula Morgan Huskins; her husband Sanford William Dale; her son Mark Edward Dale; and her siblings, Albert Huskins, Herman Huskins, Larry Huskins, Gary Huskins and Arbula Huskins.
She is survived by: her sister Christian; her children, Brenda Fillingham, Tommy Dale and Jane Propst (Mark); her grandchildren, Jonathan Fillingham (Alison), Drew Fillingham (Kim), Jordan Fillingham (Reshea), Matthew Amerto (Beth), Avery Amerto (Taylor), Emma Dale and Will Dale; and her siblings, Roy Huskins (Hazel), Ray Huskins (Norma), Jean Gouge and Barbara Gurley. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Old Fort Freewill Baptist Church (311 Orchard St, Old Fort, NC 28762). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
