He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Shuffler and Alice Terry Shuffler; and his siblings, Gordon Shuffler and Betty Metcalf. He is survived by: his daughter Newanna Shuffler of Valdese; and his siblings, Mary Alice Hogan (Dennis) of Nebo, William Shuffler of Salem, Ralph Shuffler (Ann) of Lake James and Merita Metcalf (Johnny) of Morganton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
