She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lee and Mary Randolph Lee; and her siblings, Eugene Lee, Jay Will Lee, Wilma Palmore, Ethel Shelton, Gladys Ann Kuykendall and Margie Edwards.

She is survived by: her children, Bobby Duncan (Sara) and Michelle Duncan; her grandchildren, Lilian Duncan and Addison Copeland; and her brothers, James Lee (Debbie) and Charles Lee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local humane society in Denise's memory.
