Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Hogan Lowery of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 88, on May 29, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Lee Hogan and Hattie Jane Swafford Hogan; her husband David C. Lowery; and her daughter Sharon Bernice Lowery. She is survived by: her children, David "Buster" Lowery (Dawn) of Marion, Teresa Edwards (James) of Glenwood and Charlene Herrick of Marion; her grandchildren, Jeff Van Dyke, Jerry Biddix, Christy Maynor, Charlie Lowery, Steven Edwards and Patrick Edwards; her siblings, Joyce Clark of Greensboro, Gwen Mosteller of Glenwood and Delores Vanhook of York, SC.; her daughter-in-law Elaine Lowery; and her friend Patty Davidson. She is also survived by husband, beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
