He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell B. Laughter and Lillian Cornelia Grice Laughter. He is survived by: his wife Peggy McFalls Laughter of Marshall; his children, Carroll Laughter, Jonathan Laughter, Jianna Cooper (David), Joseph Surrett (Amanda) and Eric Hall; his granddaughter Elodie Blue Cooper; and his sister Alice Price.
