She is survived by: her mother Vaughtie McPeters Simmons; her sister Tanya Hunter (Steve); her nieces, Emily Sellars (Tommy) and Caitlin Proffitt (Jared); her nephew Andrew Hunter (Sarah); her great-nephews, Charlie and Jack; and her great-niece Nora.
