He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Evan Davis and Mabel Rice Davis; his mother-in-law Dora Nichols; and his sons-in-law, Steve Silver and Mike Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Nichols Davis; his daughters, Rebecca Ann Ellison (David), Donna Kaye Leonard, Vandalyn Diane Rose (Brian) and Maria Alaina Dirhold; his brother Douglas Davis (Louise); his grandchildren, Jonathan Leonard, Lori Ellison, Philip Leonard, Sarah Ellison, Emily Bartlett, Caitlin Holbert and Landon Dirhold; and his great grandchildren, Kaleb, Chandler, Makayla, Ava, Alli, Jaxson, Jensen, Adalie, Grant, Roland, Graysen and Tinley.
The family asks that memorials be made to Faith Tabernacle Church 160 Old Hwy 10 West, Marion, NC 28752.
