He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Judy Johnson Thompson; and his sister Glenda Mace. He is survived by: his children, Sherry Thompson, Vicki Bates (Tony) and Richard Thompson (Cherie Marcy); his grandchildren, Danielle, Cherish, Brandon, Kayla, Dason and Scarlett; and his brothers, Aaron Thompson, Waynon Thompson, James Thompson, Dennis Thompson and Ernest "Pete" Thompson. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
