We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2020, at the age of 99, Verdie Elliott (Marion, North Carolina), born in Lake Lure, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Verdie Elliott to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Davis and Elma Laughter Davis; her husband Troy Elliott; and her son-in-law John Friesland. She is survived by: her daughter Lou Jane Elliott Friesland of Marion; her grandsons, Johnnie Friesland (Leslie) of Orangeburg, SC and Larry Friesland of Lake Lure; her great grandchildren, Amy Potter (Brandon) of Goldsboro, NC, Levi Friesland (Heaven) of Marion, Brooke Friesland of Marion, Haven Suttle (Greg) of Mt. Holly and Morgan Jenkins of Spartanburg, SC; and her great great grandchildren, Ava, Reese Ann, Griffin, Charleston, Lincoln and Stella Bea.
