Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William Shuford of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 73, on July 9, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Irven Shuford and Georgianna Creson Shuford; his daughter Jamie Lea Rankin; his grandson William Douglas Buchanan; and his siblings, Walter, Daniel Shuford and Barbara Shuford Long.

He is survived by: his friends, Dan Cook, Cotton Perkins and Spider McKinney; his children, Heather Shuford of Asheville, NC, Chris Rankin (Elise) of Bonaire, GA and Andy Letterman of Sanford, NC; his son-in-law David Cable (Jessica) of Marion, NC; his sister Clela Busey of Scottsdale, AZ; his sister-in-law Joy Shuford; his grandchildren, Taylor (Derek), Natalie, Briar, Trevor, Gabe, Lindsey, Nik and Baley; his great grandchild Jamison; and his nieces and nephews, Suzanne, Niki, Roy and Robert.

Later I opened Abundant Life Health Food in Gastonia N.C. , Bill was a great inspiration to the opening of the store, actually offered to finance. it. He was a great man. I wish his family well.
