He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Dalton and Beth Dalton; his brothers, Steve and Terry Dalton; his former wife Ivarea Ledbetter Dalton; and his great grandchildren, Winston and Stetson Vess.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Addison Dalton; his brother Jerry Dalton; his children, Todd Dalton, Tonya Waycaster (Kenny) and Kristi Lankford (Russell); and his grandchildren, Kristyn Grindstaff (David), Jonathan Carroll (Jamie), Karlee Vess (Jennings), Matthew Carroll (Madi), Caleb Dalton (Megan), Ivy McClure (Branson), Gage Parkins (Emily), Katie Davis (Blake) and Abbie Brown (Jake).
