She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Cornelius and Jessie Neil Cornelius; the father of her children Lewis Ewell; her husband David Russell; her granddaughter Justice Cooper; her aunts, Adrina Butler and Agnes Lyon; and her grandparent Nathanial Nieman.
She is survived by: her children, Aimee Ewell of St. Petersburg, William Ewell of Pigeon Forge, Jessica Ewell and Jennifer Wilson (Bruce) of Barnardsville; and her grandchildren, Cody Duncan (Stephanie), Rio Crowe, Travis Wilson (Emily) and Autumn Shepard (Gage). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; several cousins.
