We announce the death of Barbara English Ramsey (Mars Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 72. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Barbara’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her father Val English; her daughter Leah Ramsey; and her friends, Joyce Cutshaw and Naomi Sams. She is survived by: her husband Randy Ramsey; her mother Freida English; her brother Kenneth English; her daughter Shannon Vilcinskas (Ashley); and her granddaughters, Brooke Vilcinskas and Pressley Vilcinskas.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Union Valley Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (156 State Rd 2109, Weaverville, NC 28787).
