She was predeceased by: her parents, David Miller and Callie Nichols Miller; her son David Whitt; her granddaughter Shaina Whitt; her sister Mary Hardy; and her grandmother Horne.
She is survived by: her daughter Denise Whitt; her pet Checkers; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Whitt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Rice Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, family asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or just "Pay it Forward" to buy someone's lunch or groceries that is next to you in line.
