He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Joy and Glenna Peck Smith. He is survived by: his wife Betty Phillips Smith; his children, Karen Svitak (Norman), Tammy Smith and David L. Smith (Sandra); and his stepchildren, Ronnie Pack (Dannette) and Sherry Brown. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
