With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Rice (Mars Hill, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donna Rice to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father James Payne; her daughter Stephanie Rice; her brother Donnell Payne; and her brother-in-law Junior Roberts. She is survived by: her mother Pauline Randall Payne; her son Shane Rice (Amy); her siblings, Ann Chandler (Terry), Marie Rice (Eugene), Joyce Roberts, James Payne (Stella), Ricky Payne (Cheryl), Richard Payne (Judy) and Ronnie Payne (Robert); her grandsons, Brent Rice (Ashley) and Andrew Rice (Kimberlyn); and her great grandchild Mikey Rice. She is also survived by extended family which her brothers and sisters.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gunter Family Cemetery.
