He was predeceased by: his father Billy Thomas Simmons; his brother Kevin Simmons; and his stepmother Jannie Simmons. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Ann Moore; and his siblings, Cherisa Fisher (David), Amanda Simmons Sexton (Jamie) and Chuck Simmons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the West Memorial Park (40 Roberts St, Weaverville, NC 28787).
