It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elezene Lois Brown (Mars Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lattie Ballard and Margaret Shepherd Ballard; her husband Fairl Brown; and her brother Bill Ballard. She is survived by: her children, Steve Brown (Jeanna) and Kathy Brown; her grandchildren, Paul and Emma Brown; and her siblings, Jean Robinson, Mildred Ray and Gus Ballard.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Locust Grove Baptist Church (330 Locust Grove Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Locust Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (330 Locust Grove Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787).
