She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Taft and Clara Burrell Cody. She is survived by: her husband Carroll Metcalf; her children, Charla Lunsford (Darrell) and Daniel Metcalf (Kim); and her grandchildren, Hannah Lunsford, Macean Metcalf, Jesse Lunsford and Patrick Metcalf.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
