It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Rice (Mars Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joe Hylemon and Lizzie Robinson Hylemon; and her brother Dale Hylemon. She is survived by : her husband David; her daughter Kendall (Jeffrey); her granddaughter Kassi (Chris); her great grandchildren, Josiah and Davis; and her sisters, Lucille Metcalf, Eloise Rice and Wanda Willis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Outreach Ministry c/o Vision Missionary Baptist Church.
