Lila Nikla Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 5, 2026, at the age of 89, Lila Nikla (Mars Hill, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Nazarow and Henrietta Cohen Nazarow; her husband Gerard James Nikla; and her sister Bobbie Stein. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Turner, Darlene Fry (Rick) and Jeri Wilson; her sister Toby Cantrell; her grandchildren, Ricky Fry, Sean Turner, Angie Fry, Candace Scholl and Kelli Yoder; and her great grandchildren, Arik, Lila, Alice Turner, Taylor Yoder, Gia Fry, Haylie Yoder, Nora and Jack Scholl.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Madison County Animal Shelter, 389 Long Branch Road, Marshall, NC 28753.
