She is survived by: her children, Myra Ball, Randy Proffitt, Michael Proffitt, Teresa Buckner (Von) and Gary Proffitt (Connie); and her brother Offie Metcalf. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Funeral Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754).
