She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Griffin and Nona Wade Lewis Griffin; her husband Morris Lane Rice; and her siblings, Iva Glenn McDevitt, Edna Massey and McCllen Griffin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Keever (Bobby) and Jennifer Ingle (Myron); her siblings, Eula Mae Franklin and Dennis Griffin (Nell); her grandchildren, Cassie Davis (Banny), Cody Keever (Emily) and Briannah Goodson; and her great grandchild Kenzleigh Davis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (3757 Eller Ford Rd, Weaverville, NC 28753). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
