She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace G. Rice and Ollie Buckner Rice; and her brother Horace Rice, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Charles Raymond Rice; her sons, Durwin Rice (Shelley) and Kelsey Rice; her sister Reba Wilde (Lester); her grandchildren, Devin Rice (Madison) and Austin Rice (Brooke); and her great grandchild Charlie Ray Rice.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Locust Grove Baptist Church (330 Locust Grove Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at the Locust Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (330 Locust Grove Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787).
