It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Calloway (Mars Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her former life partner Alonzo Fore; her parents, Dora Lance Parker and Walter Calloway; and her siblings, Samuel Calloway, Ann Calloway Medford and Susan Parker Breedlove.
She is survived by : her children, Dennis Fore of Hot Springs, Kelly Fore Waldroup of Marshall and Theresa Fore Parker of Weaverville; her daughter-in-law Jody Ingle Fore of Leicester; her grandchildren, Jimmy "Lee" Moore (Tiffany) of Mars Hill, Gabriel Waldroup of Marshall, Damian Fore (Brittany), Ashley Banks Clopton (Brian) of Morganton, Felicia Banks Cutshall (Tyler) of Greeneville, TN and Lynn Ingle Ortiz (Emilo) of Asheville; her siblings, Cathy Parker Metcalf (Bill) of Mars Hill, Phillip Parker of Newton and William Parker of Conway, SC; and her great grandchildren, Jordan Wells, Adalyn Clopton, Hunter and Brooklyn Moore.
In lieu of flowers, mother asked that everyone gather with their families for a picnic in remembrance of her.
