With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Blanch Walker of Marshall, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Blanch Walker to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Wade Treadway and Polly Gentry Treadway; her husband Carl Walker; her daughter Nancy Ann Treadway; her grandson Travis Walker; and her siblings, Daisy Cook, Elizabeth Barnes, Lucille Redding, Willie Treadway, Joseph Treadway, Jack Treadway, Grover Treadway and John Treadway.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Rathbone (Rick Corn), Steve Walker (Renée) and Joe Walker (Doris); her grandchildren, Kaylyn Chandler (Adam), Crystal Walker (Kenny Henson), Stephanie Luther (Alex), Christian Walker (Tiffany), Jennifer Gentry (Scott), Andy Cody and Curtis Cody; and her sisters, Evelyn Walker and Shirley Treadway. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greens (Memory Care Unit) and Compassionate Care of Yancey Co. would be appreciated.
