We announce the death of Bobby Gene Clayborn (Marshall, North Carolina), who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his son Bobby Gene Clayborn, III. He is survived by: his children, Mary Elizabeth Clayborn Cox and Robin Lee Clayborn (family: Ronnie, Debbie Patton); his grandchildren, Jodi and Butch (family: Ricky, Janice Buckner); his great grandchildren, Christy, Julie and Jeffrey; and his brothers, Ronnie Rice and Jesse Rhew. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Teagues Chapel (232 Teagues Chapel Rd, Marshall, NC 28753).
