She was predeceased by: her parents, James Roberts and Pansy Cutshaw Roberts; her sons, Johney and Tracy Bowens; and her sister Rebecca Lunsford.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Bowens; her son James Bowens (Lori); her grandsons, James Cody Bowens, Jeremiah Bowens and Travis Lee Bowens; and her sister Pauline Gunter (Arthur). She is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Madison Funeral Services (1750 NC-213, Marshall, NC 28753). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
