He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Banks Gardner; his children, Wendy Kay Fenech (Fred) of Baxter, Iowa and Fred Gardner (Sarah) of Birmingham, Alabama; his sister Norma Jean Jacobsen of San Mateo, CA; and his grandchildren, Jane Dallas Fenech, Melissa Mary Fenech, Charles David Fenech, Zachary Mark Gardner, Rebecca Josephine Gardner and Charles Floyd Gardner.
