He is survived by: his son Joshua Aaron Edwards; his daughter-in-law Autumn Brook Edwards; his former wife Linda Darlene Hunter; his siblings, Wanda Faye Roberts and Wilburn Edwards; his nephews, Stephen Lee Malone, Ricky Roberts, Terry Roberts, Bobby Edwards and James Daniel Edwards; and his niece Debbie Edwards.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Antioch-Ponder Cemetery (4433 Rector Corner Rd, Marshall, NC 28753).
