We bid farewell to Darrell Gardner (Marshall, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 13, 2025 at the age of 55. Darrell touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Milt "Honey" Ray and Grace Robinson Ray; and his uncle Danny "Dink" Wallin. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his mother Doris Penland (Quentin Austin); his aunt Shirley "Sis" Wallin; his children, Jackson Ledford (Maleena), Jennifer Privette (Clayton) and Abegale King; and his grandson Hayes Warren Privette. He is also survived by several other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Madison Funeral Services (1750 NC-213, Marshall, NC 28753). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
