She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Dean Burris and Rose Lee Luther Burris; her son Matthew Simpson; and her husband Danny Simpson. She is survived by: her daughter Tabitha Warren (Lee) of West Asheville, NC; and her siblings, Kevin Burris, Emery Burris and Linda Burris. She is also survived by grandchildren.
